Review by hotel critic
Recently, while immersing myself in the vibrant culture and bountiful nature of Puerto Maldonado, Peru, I encountered an array of captivating avifauna. From the majestic cormorants to the resplendent toucans and melodious macaws, each feathered resident added a layer of enchantment to my stay. The sighting of the colorful hoatzin, with its distinctive head adorned with feathers, was a highlight not to be missed in this wondrous habitat.Nestled alongside the Beni River, this area thrives in its natural splendor, offering exceptional wildlife encounters. The endangered giant river otters gracefully traversing the waters exemplified the harmonious existence of fauna in this ecosystem. As dusk enveloped the landscape, the banks of the river came alive with nocturnal creatures, granting me glimpses of alligators, capybaras, and the mystical night birds in their element. The seamless integration of modern amenities like electricity, wifi, and hot water into the serene surroundings elevated the comfort of my retreat. The bilingual staff, fluent in both English and Spanish, enhanced my experience with their warmth and attentiveness, making every interaction a pleasure. In conclusion, my sojourn in this haven of wildlife, punctuated by the bestowal of nature's treasures and the harmonious coexistence of tradition and modernity, left an indelible mark on my journey through Puerto Maldonado.
